Week 6 of lockdown or 9 weeks since my last haircut and colour!! Hello, I hope you are all well and happy?
Difficult times in which your emotions can fluctuate. Overall, I am having a chilled relaxed time with the only downside is the lack of great conversation and laughter galore with many of you in my Boutique. I have been speaking or messaging some of you. Forgive me if I have not spoken to you yet-feel free to contact me for a natter or sound off if needed.
So, what have I been doing? Well my garden has had a shock as for the first time in years I have been able to devote some time and really enjoying seeing it grow. I know my Accountant will also be pleased as my paperwork is being prepared for Mr Taxman (6 months earlier than usual) The shop is also ready for happier days with lots of lovely summer stock on display now. My Website has had a lot of products added too.
My daily exercise routine has been lovely with new routes being devised and fresh goals set. I must say I have really enjoyed this aspect of daily life. (Note to self -Must continue post lockdown)
Yes you miss things you take for granted and my recent Birthday was uneventful to say the least, but that glass of chilled rose wine on a Friday evening is wonderful and allows you to reflect on life and the new “norms”.
I hope I will be announcing an opening date soon and no doubt new measures will be part of that. Until then please keep following my social media channels plus the Website for updates.
