Only a few more weeks, hopefully until that door can be opened to allow chatter, laughter and all-round good times again.
Like everyone these long weeks away from normal routine have proved quite different this time round. But I have been super proactive in the Boutique changing displays, introducing new stock (home and giftware) as well as reorganising all the rails. This has helped lift my mood no end. It is surprising what a sort out and change around does for your spirits. I just cannot wait to hear your comments and see your reactions when you drop in.
I do hope you have been enjoying the Social Media posts. My team and I putting together outfits using accessories and layering as well as showcasing the gift ranges and homeware goodies.
March 29th does of course mark the partial relaxation of meeting up with friends and family. So, who are you looking forward to seeing first for a proper catch up? I have to say I am dying to have a chat with someone other than Mrs Blackbird and Mr Robin in my little outside oasis!!
Spring and Summer clothing and accessories dominate the Boutique so let us hope the weather plays along with me. I am going to start the Dress Agency again but will limit clients initially. The guidelines make it difficult to offer the relaxed service enjoyed pre–Pandemic I am afraid. So, for now you will need to contact me beforehand please., no just dropping in with items. Government measures for ‘hands, face and space’ will remain in the Boutique too.
So, I am going to enjoy my last few weeks of downtime. This generally involves a daily session of quizzing with Tipping Point or the Chase. If I am feeling a bit more intellectual, then an hour of Only Connect and University Challenge suffice. Down time varies from creating masterpieces with the Spirograph kit (not!!) playing statues and a whole host of themes centred around guessing the ages of weather /news presenters. The list here is endless with Google or WikiLeaks a great source for immediate answers.
