Ouch, ouch my fingers are sensitive following deleting all the emails received last week or so for Black Friday and Cyber Monday all offering “the deal.” They cannot all be true……Can they? I know from speaking to some of you in the Boutique you share my frustration too. Normally “the deal” has already gone or worse still you put some things in your basket only to find they have sold out before you can check out!!! Who like me would like to see an end to these 2 days annually and go back to the traditional sales at the end of each season and fair and honest pricing in between?
Enough of my rant! Christmas is here and somehow despite everything seems very real this year. The festive season has arrived in the Boutique and its lovely to see so many people back out shopping too. I have reluctantly decided against hosting any shopping evenings. I hope you understand my reasons behind this decision. I am still hosting private shopping sessions, so if you and a couple of friends would like the shop to yourselves for an hour or so early evening just get in touch. I have some ideas going forward to host some styling evenings in 2022 with some local experts which would be a lot of fun. Keep an eye on the social media channels for dates in the New Year.
Party wear seems to be in demand. Lovely to see this uplift even if your plan is just to party at home of dress up on Christmas Day rather than lounging in your PJ’s. Talking of pyjamas have you clocked the gorgeous range of children’s pyjamas for sale both in the Boutique and Online. So cute, five lovely designs to choose from.
Another new line added for A/W 21 is a versatile bracelet/hair tie featuring a bee, heart, or star charm. Great stocking filler or treat for yourself. In addition, Hot Tomato new collection is divine as are the limited-edition pieces introduced from Peppermint Grove and Moss St. They look and more importantly they smell just wonderful.
My clever artisans continue to beaver away (think they are busier than Father Christmas’ elves?!) Lovely new pieces arriving daily now. The ongoing collaboration with Numberten@home in the window continues and both Melanie and I are chuffed to bits with the feedback received. It really means a lot to both of us.
I know I am always saying the next line but really cannot say it enough to be honest. Thank you, thank you for ensuring I continue to have another fantastic year. Your support is just awesome. Please keep supporting the “indies” as much as you can and remember we are not just for Christmas but for life as the saying goes!
